Tuesday (4/18)

1.  Today periods 4,5,6 met.
2. Period 6 students, please see Monday’s post.
3. Periods 4 + 5 shared their Challenger Deep character self-portraits, read chapters 131, 134, 135 as Reader Theatre.  Chapter 133 was read independently.
4. Chapter 133 included a response sheet that required making a connection with ship events and hospital events.

DUE:  Chapter 133 Reading Response   Period 5 = Wednesday (4/19) and Periods 3,4,6 = Thursday (4/20).

Monday (4/17)

2. New vocabulary was introduced and defined.
3. Following a few slides on Hieronymus Bosch, we sketched portraits for a few Challenger Deep characters: Carlyle, Hal, Master-at-arms, Callie, Skye, and  Dr. Poirot.
